Walking sandals need to have the ability to be adjusted to fit your foot just right. Your heel should be able to fit securely against the back of the sandal in order to prevent rubbing, which can lead to blisters. Be sure to test the walking sandals before purchasing them to make sure they fit properly.

Tip #2: Support and Cushioning
Every time you take a step, your foot rolls. Therefore, your walking sandals need to roll and flex with your foot. If the sole of the walking sandal is too stiff, it won't move properly with your foot. Therefore, look for ones that are flexible, yet provide plenty of support.
