Reflexology - Foot and Hands massage
What is reflexology?
Reflexology is a method that involves stimulating, massaging and applying pressure to points on the hands and feet to reduce pains in the other parts of the body.
Reflexologists claim that they do not cure anything. Instead, they merely stimulate the body to heal itself.
Where does it come from?
The origin of reflexology is hazy, but one of the most famous one is that it goes back 5,000 years to ancient China. In history, reflexology has been found to also been practiced in ancient Egypt (scientist found an Egyptian picture showing a man massaging another man's foot). Apart from that, it has also been used in Persia and Japan. In India and parts of Africa, reflexology has long been recognized and practiced.
