If there is an award for "The Most Controversial Alternative Medicine of the Decade", homeopathy medicine would win it easily. Some doctors said homeopathy is just quackery, others said it is effective and harmless. So, who's correct?
Well, it's hard to say. Some doctors believe that homeopathy medicine are merely placebos, while others believe that these remedies work, only not in the way that science is accustomed to. A noble cause
No matter how controversial homeopathy medicine is, one thing is for sure. Samuel Hahnemann, the founding father of homeopathy started it under a noble cause. The homeopathy medicine treatment during his days was too obsessed on draining blood from patients up to the stage that Hahnemann thinks it is ridiculous. He in fact quit his medical profession and while working as a translator, had accidentally discovered an ancient medical philosophy formulated by Hippocrates in the 5th century BC, "like cures like". This becomes the root of homeopathy.

Just because it is controversial doesn't mean it is dangerous. In a sense, it is controversial because it is NOT dangerous. Yes, it sounds funny but that is the fact.

Homeopathy medicine philosophy
Hahnemann believed that when a substance that is capable of producing the same symptom to that of the disease to be cured, it encourages a powerful strengthening of the body's defense mechanism.
