What About Now?

Now, you need not worry about going to a chiropractor to cure your back problems. Doctors recommend chiropractic care. Some doctors even perform it themselves.

In 1997, it was estimated that Americans made nearly 192 million visits a year to chiropractors. Nearly half those visits were to treat back or neck pain.

Who Use Chiropractic?

Common problems treated by chiropractors are back or neck pain. Apart from that, people who suffer from headaches, sports injuries, repetitive strains and arthritis, as well as pregnant women with backaches (due to the extra weight) can benefit from chiropractic care.

Studies by National Institutes of Health, US found that chiropractic treatment were somewhat effective in treating bone-related problems. In other studies, the effectiveness of chiropractic and conventional treatments were found to be equal. How effective is chiropractic?
