Dandruff Home Remedy

This may be the reason why your sister surprisingly gives you her beloved black sweater.

Unfortunately, cases like theses often occur. More and more people have to part away with their black dress because of dandruff. Naturally, this problem is more noticeable on your first date, job interview and maybe during your wedding day. It's itchy, it's annoying and it's like having Christmas everyday except the snow is falling from your head. Of course, when this happen it definitely is not a jolly good time!

What Should You Do?

Shampoo Regularly

This is the only way to get rid of the oil and flakes on the scalp. Of course, shampooing will get rid of the oil but not necessarily the dandruff. After some time the scalp will not be better simply because the body has built up resistance to the dandruff's ingredient.

Ask people with dandruff problem and most will complain about having to swap shampoos after shampoos to no avail. So what should you do next?

Try Tar

Use pine tar shampoo or alternate with olive oil shampoo. You can also you water and vinegar scalp rub: use 20% vinegar to 80% water and leave it about 20 minutes before you shampoo. However, some people should not use tar shampoo if their skin is sensitive to it.

Check Your Hair Products

Some people just cannot stand only one hairstyle in a month. So they keep a different set of mousse, gels and hair sprays for the hair. Stop! Check if these products add oils to your scalp because adding oils to those problematic scalps would only hinder healing.

Lifestyle

Naturalists believe that people who have dandruff problem also have problem with their nutrition. So change your lifestyle and eat more green vegetables and enjoy your fruits. Some people suffer scalp problem because of constant stress. If that's the case, go easy on yourself. Engage in some form of exercise to let off the steam.

Try Aromatherapy

Many hair problems will respond to Aromatherapy using specific essential oils diluted in base oil. Bergamot and tee trees are helpful in dandruff control. Simply rub the oils thoroughly into the scalp, then wrap the hair in warm towels and allow the oils to penetrate the scalp for an hour or two.
