Home Vision TherapyHome vision therapy involves training the eyes to correct themselves and teaching them to work better under modern conditions. Home vision therapy has been proven to be capable of correcting eyesight problems by reducing strain on the eyes. This is accomplished by following a daily schedule of eye exercises. These can be done by using a computer or in various other ways. There is no fixed set of exercises. The treatment is customized for the patient. It may involve a standalone computer or balls and other objects. Home vision therapy exercises should always be performed under the supervision of a specialist doctor. Home vision therapy can treat common eye problems like lazy eye, eye misalignments and other conditions without having to resort to glasses, lenses and even eye surgery. Home vision therapy does not improve the eyes; it only improves the way they function. Physical eye problems like eye damage will not benefit from the therapy. Thus, home vision therapy will not enable you to throw away your glasses or lenses if you need them to correct your eyesight. While home vision therapy is suitable for all ages, and can benefit both adults and children, it is advisable to begin the treatment as soon as possible. Studies show that children adapt to changes much faster then adults. Children are likely to master the treatment in far shorter time than adults would. Health insurance programs do not usually cover home vision therapy. Check with your insurance provider regarding whether your plan can support the costs of this treatment. Also Read: |
