Also called gingivitis, it is characterized by swollen gums, bleeding gums, loosening of teeth, bad breath, formation of pus, and eventually, premature falling of teeth. Left untreated, it can aggravate into a serious dental condition called periodontitis. It is essential that oral hygiene remains one of your top priorities.

Brush Properly

The foremost cause of any dental problem is improper brushing habits. Use a good mouthwash regularly to kill oral infections. Peppermint, neem or aloe mouthwashes are highly recommended for their effectiveness in killing bacteria.

No Smoking or Tobacco

If you want good oral health, give up habits like smoking and tobacco. These habits are harmful for your gums and teeth, in addition to being cancer risks.
