Ear Aches Home Remedies
The biggest cause of earache is bacterial infection. Earache can be unbearable at times, and there may be pain on the exterior and interior parts of the ear.
Liquid deposition could cause earache by creating pressure on the inner parts of the ear. Water may enter the ear during activities like swimming and bathing, causing infection and pain. Dust deposits can also cause earaches.
Home Remedies
- Garlic fluid can help you to reduce the pain. Use an ear dropper to transfer drops of garlic fluid into your ear. Two or three drops at a time will provide relief.
- Basil leaves are also very helpful. Use two or three drops of basil extract for quick relief.
- Olive oil is useful in eliminating earwax and protecting your ears from infection.
- Radish can also offer some respite. Cut a radish into small pieces and place in a little mustard oil. Warm this lightly, and then place a few drops of the oil in your ear. This will provide some relief.
- An herb called lobelia is an effective remedy for earaches.
- Avoid cold beverages and alcohol if you have an earache. Do not eat spicy or oily food. Oranges and other fruits that are rich in Vitamin C can help.
- Take precautions to ensure that water does not enter your ear while swimming or bathing.
