Bad Breath Home Remedies
Improper brushing and not rinsing the mouth after meals leads to bacteria buildup in the mouth. These bacteria are said to produce bad breath.
The bad smell is caused by the sulfur compounds present in certain foods like garlic, onion, eggs and some fruit juices that remain behind in the teeth, gums, tongue and mouth. Proteins that are broken down by bacteria also cause bad breath. Other bad breath triggers include dental decay, gum disease, intestinal worms, gastritis and other stomach disorders.
Artificial mouth cleansers and refreshers are readily available in the market. However, they are expensive and provide only temporary relief. Stop looking for quick fixes. Explore simple home remedies to prevent bad breath.
