Zinc

Research shows that zinc is a good remedy for acne. It is an essential mineral required by the body. Zinc deficiency can lead to acne breakouts. To treat or prevent acne, consume plenty of zinc-rich foods like seafood, whole grains, oats, beans and dairy products. You could also take zinc supplements, whether in tablet or capsule form, sold at local drugstores.
