Urinary Tract Infection

The juice is known to treat this disease by reducing the number of bacteria on the lining of the urinary tract. A study conducted among elderly patients suggested a 50 percent reduction of infection among patients who drank 300 ml of cranberry juice everyday for over six months. A daily portion of cranberries is helpful in treating the disease.


Laboratory results show that cranberry extract reduces the oxidation of "bad cholesterol." This helps promote a healthy heart.
