The Healing Powers of Vitamin K CreamVitamin K cream is used topically to fade and clear bruises, decrease facial spider veins, improve the look of broken capillaries, and calm inflamed areas on the face. Studies support this usage and show that Vitamin K cream can significantly decrease inflammations or bruises on the face. Vitamin K cream is thus particularly useful before and after any kind of facial surgery. Improved versions of the original forms of Vitamin K cream were formulated to treat inflamed areas, purple blotches, and blue or black marks on the face. Vitamin K cream is also very effective in decreasing the appearance of smaller blood vessels on the skin. Several new reformulations contain arnica, an ingredient that boosts skin healing and evens overall skin tone. Many contemporary reformulations also contain an antioxidant blend of green tea to provide a youthful glow. One study was conducted to determine whether Vitamin K cream could reduce the duration of laser-induced purpura. Purpura is a condition where the body's cells bleed due to aggravation. Some laser treatments leave small, purple dots on the treatment area. The dots disappear after some time. The study followed 20 subjects, each of whom had five purpura sites that were treated with Vitamin K cream. Each person also had a control site on which no cream was used. It was found that the purpura disappeared much faster on using Vitamin K cream. The difference was significantly noticeable from the third day onwards. Many creams available today are a waste of money in terms of their healing or anti-aging effects. This study suggests that Vitamin K cream has adequate healing capabilities. Also Read: |
