Walking Weight Loss
Are you looking to get in shape? Increase your walking time. Add another step to your daily routine and weight loss is sure to follow.
At Work
Do you depend on email to communicate with co-workers? Instead of keeping your fingers busy, give your body a workout by walking. Weight loss does not occur on its own. It takes a concentrated effort. Take a small step in this direction. The next time your fingers itch to send an email query to a colleague, leave your desk, walk down to him and ask the question in person. Not only will walking improve your body shape, your work relationships will also blossom.
At the Store
Parking close to the store is an obsession with many. It is common to circle the lot several times in search of a better spot. We waste many minutes doing this, even though walking to the store would be so much easier. If you want to lose weight, park some distance away to add more walking to your day. Increasing your walking weight loss routine will improve fitness and help you avoid the stress of looking for a place to park in a full parking lot. Your car may also be safer, away from the rush of vehicles. Finding it may be a lot easier when you are done shopping.
Give the Kids a Break
Many parents have their children run small errands for them -- everything from answering the phone to fetching the remote control. Avoid passing the little jobs to the kids. These are great opportunities for walking. Weight loss is easier when you take these extra steps. So answer the phone yourself -- and send the kids outside to play.
