Interval Walking: Interval walking involves periods of power walking and weighted power walking followed by recovery walking exercises, or slower, rest walking exercises. Interval walking exercise plans can burn up to 120 calories in half an hour.

Power Walking: Power walking means walking at a fast pace for a certain period of time. The idea behind power walking is to walk fast, just short of breaking into a run. This helps burn more calories than if you were to run at the same pace.
