Learn How to Breath: Trouble Breathing May Not Be Trouble At AllYou should not experience trouble breathing during physical activity. However, shortness of breath is likely if you are out of shape or obese. Breathing trouble may also indicate more serious conditions like asthma, coronary artery disease or angina. Consult your physician if you have trouble breathing. You may also benefit by learning to control your diaphragm while breathing. Just remember to maintain a breathing rhythm while exercising. Practice your breathing when you are not doing anything. Sitting still, feel your breathing and establish a rhythm of inhalation and exhalation. Next, try this while walking. Control the rate at which you inhale and exhale. Once you have established a rhythm, move into a slow run. You may notice that you are breathing faster as you tire. This is okay provided you learn to control the rhythm. Do not end your fitness regime merely because you experience trouble breathing. Seek your physician's advice to rule out any medical issues, practice your breathing rhythm and you should be running along in no time at all. Also Read: |
