Get Your Running Breathing Under ControlThe main thing here is rhythm. Practice inhaling and exhaling at a consistent rate, regardless of running speed. You should be able to hold a conversation while running without becoming breathless. As you get tired or pick up the pace, your running breathing could lose its rhythm. You might find that you are breathing too hard and fast. Do not worry about this. Simply try to control the rhythm. Understand that the diaphragm controls your breathing. So you need to control your diaphragm. If you do not, you could get a side-stitch (a pain in your side). Hold your hands above your head while walking and breathing deep to get rid of this pain.
